One Week To Go!

Our grassroots campaign has always been the underdog in this race and our hard work is going to pay off. With just one week until the election, Team Luz is firing on all cylinders and we're excited to elect Luz Escamilla our next Mayor of Salt Lake City!

Here's some updates from the campaign:

The past few days have shown some unfavorable poll numbers and today saw the financial disclosure reports show our opponent has raised more and spent more on this campaign. This election has already seen the pollsters get it wrong and the well financed candidates fall. So we're not discouraged in the slightest.

What encourages us is that we're winning undecided voters and there are a LOT of undecided voters. As of yesterday's count from the Salt Lake County Clerk, only 16,112 ballots have been cast. There may be some in the mail, but with an estimated turnout of 45,000 to 48,000 votes, there are many votes to be won and we're winning them!

We are facing our own fierce urgency of NOW. We need YOU, our supporters, to join us in ramping up for our final push this week. Here's how you can make a difference.

1. Vote and Get Everyone You Know To Vote.

If you're one of the many who have yet to vote, let's get that ballot turned in. Any questions on where or how to vote? Click HERE. Then, make sure you talk to your family, friends, coworkers and neighbors to make sure they vote Luz for Mayor!

2. Show Your Support On Social Media.

Don't keep your support for Luz to yourself. Share it! Take a selfie casting your ballot, write a post or tweet about why you voted Luz, use #IVotedLuz in your post or tweet, and add our Facebook Frame to your profile picture.

3. Volunteer on the Campaign.
