Accusations are flying around that some mayoral campaigns are not using union-made campaign materials. Luz Escamilla's campaign uses union-made materials. You can tell by the union "bug" stamped on our yard signs, our walking literature, our mailers, our buttons, our thank you cards, etc.

The "union bug" is the term used for the union's insignia that is stamped on materials produced in their shop. Our campaign has deliberately chosen union shops because Luz supports labor and working families. Luz is looking to empower Salt Lake City by protecting worker rights, working to bring quality jobs to our city, and supporting city employees.
